At Breastfeeding Inc., our aim is to empower parents by ensuring they
receive the most up-to-date information to assist them with their
breastfeeding baby. We strive to provide them this information through
breastfeeding resources which include, but are not limited to, free
information sheets, video clips, and articles. Some resources, such as
books, protocols and videos can also be purchased through the website.
The
creators of our resources, Dr Jack Newman and lactation consultant
Edith Kernerman have collectively seen tens of thousands of babies over
the years. They both speak internationally at lactation medicine
conferences and have created numerous resources for both health care
professionals and for patients. Newman and Kernerman are two of the
three executive directors of the International Breastfeeding Centre, a
not-for-profit breastfeeding clinic, educational facility, and research
centre, that is located in Toronto, Canada but serves patients and
trains health care professionals from all around the world.
At
Breastfeeding Inc, we created this site and our products after listening
to mothers and health care professionals about what their breastfeeding
needs truly are. Our resources help to diagnose breastfeeding concerns,
treat pain, milk supply issues, concerns around babies’ health as
related to feeding, and help to prevent future problems.
